RESPECT IN FOOTBALL

FANS’ FORUM

BASHLEY F.C. CLUBHOUSE
THURSDAY APRIL 2, KICK OFF 7.30PMI am the Secretary of Bash47 the Bashley FC Independent Supporters Club and I am emailing you to draw your attention to our Fans’ Forum on the Thursday 2nd April entitled Respect in Football featuring Eric Trengove the FA County Welfare Officer. Eric is also a Licensed Referee Instructor and the County Lead Respect Officer.

I do not need to remind you that there is already a shortage of referees (6000+ have left in the last 12 months!) and the position is becoming critical, whilst the main reason given by referees for hanging up their boots is the lack of respect they receive from players, managers and spectators. With speakers from the football club and an open forum to follow this promises to be a lively evening.

The event takes place at the Bashley FC Clubhouse starting at 7.30pm, the meeting is open to all and there is no admission charge.
